COVID – 19

We understand and deeply respect that you may be concerned about the coronavirus (COVID-19) in public places, even at our state of the art sterilized office. We have always used CDC and OSHA-mandated cleaning and disinfection protocols for all surfaces in our office and treatment rooms. All disinfectants are bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal and tuberculocidal.

We want to assure you that our office has even further heightened our already rigid sterilization safeguards and office cleaning standards to minimize the possibility of transmission to patients or our outstanding team. We will be cleaning and disinfecting public areas frequently, including door handles, chairs, and bathrooms. We will also be removing all books and magazines in our waiting areas.

Our first priority is always the health and well-being of our patients. This is a priority we take extremely seriously, even with the current disruptions we are experiencing. In an effort to do this, we will be making the following changes in our office effective immediately –

  • Only patients and one accompanying adult for minors will be allowed to enter the office. Siblings, grandparents, friends, etc. should remain outside in their vehicles.
  • If you would like to wait in your vehicle until your operatory is ready, please feel free to call us when you arrive and we will gladly alert you when your room is ready.
  • All patients will be asked to use hand sanitizer upon entering the office.
  • All patients will be asked to rinse with a 1% hydrogen peroxide rinse before entering operatories. The coronavirus is vulnerable to oxidation and this will reduce the salivary load of oral microbes.
  • If you have traveled outside of the country within the past 2 weeks or have been in contact with someone who has, we kindly ask that you please reschedule your appointment.
  • If you or someone you live with has recently been sick with a fever, cough, or shortness of breath, we kindly request that you please reschedule your appointment.

We want to thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate this time together. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call our office and we will be happy to discuss further.
